Good times, good people 2004-12-15 // 6:41 p.m. Last night I went out with Phil. I took him out for my favorite "get to know you" activity: bubble tea and Pinball Pete's. It was much fun, he was fun, I talked a lot, we talked a lot. It was a good night, one of the first I've felt content and comfortable in a quite a few months. We touched on many good subjects, we had a conversation about death, something that brings me great anxiety usually, however, he brought up the ideas of Epicurus and my curiosity and thurst for new knowledge was definitly peeked. "Death is nothing to us; for that which has been dissolved into its elements experiences no sensations, and that which has no sensation is nothing to us." Now, due to the fact that I didn't get home until 4 in the morning and had to get up at 8 for work I am dead tired right now.
